Our brief was to manufacture individual pods for people to sleep in. The pods let guests sit up, read and of course sleep, with far more privacy than a standard hostel.

Each capsule includes a plug socket, USB ports, curtains, a ventilation system to keep you cool and even mood lighting. With the pods proving such a success, more are planned elsewhere in the UK.

BotsAndUs chose Interform as manufacturing partner for the robot's shell and other plastic components. After several meetings on the intricate curved design, prototyping and testing, the final engineered design used hardened plastic in shiny black and white for a sleek finish.

Bo launched at the Innorobo Show in Paris in May 2017 to huge interest.

Atom Ltd needed light and dark grey gloss rippled-effect flooring for a Spring window display. The job called for large vacuum forming machinery and a tight two week deadline.

We selected colour-matched High Impact Polystyrene for its durability and finish, sourced through our supplier base.

Injection moulding couldn't hit the time frame, so Atom brought the project to us. Through pre-production work we found a five impression tool with plug assist and 3mm material gave the best results.

Rainwater running down drivers' sleeves was occasionally shorting the gear switch on heavy refuse vehicles. We created design options and prototypes for a transparent, two inch vacuum formed cover that seals the switch without getting in the driver's way.

Within two weeks we designed, developed and produced 100 covers, with two further batches supplied since.

The monitors sit on top of the car during qualifying and hang from the garage doors during the race. Adapting the MarinePod concept gave a robust, simple and stylish solution with a secure seal between the two halves.

The caddy holds tissues, hand wipes and anti-bacterial gel, in steel and wood finishes that suit modern and traditional offices. Our input on the design improved the manufacturing process and reduced costs.
